Instructor Training Courses

Date/Time: September 8th – November 12th
PosterCampus Recreation has two opportunities for individuals interested in sharing their passion for fitness. Each semester we offer our ACE Personal Training Course and On The Beat Group Fitness Instructor Training Course. These courses are designed to prepare students for the national certification exams. Once completed, students are encouraged to apply for employment with our Fitness Program. Registration is currently open and classes will begin the week of September 7th. Group Fitness Session I Schedule

Date/Time: August 24th – October 8th
PosterBegining Monday, August 24th, our Session I Group Fitness Schedule begins. With 50 classes offered each week, we are bound to have something that meets your fitness needs and schedule. Let our nationally ceritfied instructors assist you on your fitness journey. Classes are free for UNCG Students and SRC Members. Intramural Sports Registration

Date/Time: August 31st – September 7th
PosterThe start of the Fall Intramural Sports season is just around the corner. Registration for our first group of sports will run August 31st – September 7th. Available sports include Flag Football, Outdoor Soccer, Racquetball, & Sand Volleyball. Teams and Free Agents may register on-line. Jump Start
Weight & Lifestyle Management

Date/Time: August 31st – October 7th
PosterJump Start is a six-week program that offers participants a “jump start” to taking charge of their health and wellness. Participants will meet twice a week. Mondays will be dedicated to discussing healthy eating topics. Wednesdays will feature a group workout. Not only will participants begin their journey to weight and lifestyle management, but they will collect tools and information that will keep them motivated following the completion of the program.
