About Club Sports
Welcome to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro’s Club Sports Program. The UNCG Club Sports Program is supported by the Department of Campus Recreation and offers a variety of sporting activities for student involvement. The sporting activities consist of individual and team sports, both competitive and instructional. Previous experience is not a prerequisite for Club Sports.
Club Sports are excellent opportunities for students to continue to play sports at a competitive level while developing and refining leadership skills. Club Sports assist students with leadership development, decision-making skills, and management issues.
All UNCG club sports are registered student organizations with the Office of Campus Activities and Programs. Club Sports are not varsity athletics. They are student organizations. If your club or organization needs assistance or has any questions or comments, please contact Erik Unger, Assistant Director, Intramural and Club Sports at 334-5924.
