Piney Lake Recreation Area Hours and Rates

2009 Season Operating Hours
August 28 - September 27

Operating hours will be:
Friday.......2:00pm - 6:00pm
Saturday...12:00pm - 6:00pm
Sunday.....1:00pm - 6:00pm

Piney Lake will be closed from Aug 3 to Aug 27, 2009 for maintenance.
Piney Lake will reopen Friday, Aug 28, 2009.

Fees and Rules

• Piney Lake Recreation Area is FREE for enrolled students. Students not enrolled in summer classes may purchase a Piney Lake membership for $10.00 per summer session.
• Members of the Student Recreation Center, and the immediate members of their families, are welcome to use Piney Lake for FREE.
• For those faculty and staff who are not members of the SRC, Piney Lake memberships are available for them and their spouses/lifemates for $40.00 per individual per season or $70.00 per family per season. UNCG faculty and staff members not choosing to purchase a membership may pay a daily rate of $5.00.
• UNCG members may sponsor guests daily. Each guest must bring a picture ID, complete a waiver, pay the $5.00 daily fee, and be accompanied by the sponsoring member.
• Alumni of UNCG may use Piney Lake by either contacting Campus Recreation and requesting to be put on the day use list ($5.00 daily usage fee) or purchasing a Piney Lake membership for $40.00 per season. Family memberships are also available for $70.00 per season. Graduation date must be confirmed before use of Piney Lake facilities can begin.

NOTE: A waiver must be completed for all guests including minors. *Minors are required to have a waiver signed by their parent/legal guardian in order to utilize Piney Lake Recreation Area. The waiver may be picked up at the Piney Lake Recreation Area, the Student Recreation Center, or printed online by clicking on 'Piney Lake Waiver' below.

• Children under the age of 5 years are free!
• Children MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• Adults must directly supervise minors at all times. A 1 to 3 adult to minor ratio must be maintained at all times.
• Please bring your valid UNCG FirstCard ID with you!
