Fitness Orientation
A Fitness Orientation is an introductory session for individuals who are new
to exercise or any type of regular exercise. Participants will learn the proper
technique and execution of weight lifting, cardiovascular, and flexibility
exercises.What Fitness Orientation training would you like to receive?
- General Fitness Orientation
- Receive an orientation on the proper usage of the cardiovascular equipment
and weight training machines. Also learn about other services and programs
that the SRC has to offer.
(*Available using Walk-in or Appointment)
- Intro to Strength Training
- Instruct patrons on proper set up and exercise technique for
weight training machines and selected Free Weights Exercises for general
exercises. Patrons will receive the Intro to Strength Training Log
(*Appointment Only).
- Intro to Cardiovascular Training
- Instruct patrons on proper set up and usage of all the cardiovascular
equipment or equipment they would choose to use. Patrons will receive the
Intro to Cardiovascular Training Log
(*Appointment Only) .
- Intro to Flexibility
- Instruct patrons on how to execute proper stretching and flexibility
exercises. Stretches will be shown for all muscle groups. Patrons will also
focus on warm up and cool down principles of stretching
