
Leigh is a first year master's student in Exercise and Sport Science with a specialization in Exercise Psychology. She completed her first undergraduate degree with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism at The University of Texas at Austin. Leigh also worked for UT RecSports as a fitness instructor and Program Assistant. After graduating, Leigh moved to Prague and was Marketing Manager for a film production company She maintained her fitness certifications and taught at a local gym in her spare time. In 2005, Leigh decided to return to UT for a second degree - this time in Kinesiology: Health Promotion and Fitness. She also returned to UT Rec Sports and her role expanded to include personal training. marketing and graphic design. Here at UNCG, Leigh has easily made her way into her role as Graduate Assistant for Fitness.
Jenna, a local to Greensboro, is a first year master's student in Exercise and Sport Science with a specialization in Exercise Physiology. Her undergraduate work was also at UNCG and she graduated in May 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science: Fitness Leadership. She began working for the Student Recreation Center in 2004 as a Facility Assistant and Weight Room Supervisor, and has since obtained her IFTA certifications in Personal Training, Group Exercise and Powercut Instruction. Jenna has also worked extensively with our On the Beat course, Energize Your Life program as well as the HOPE (Helping Older People Exercise) program. She easily transitioned into the role of Graduate Assistant for Fitness for Campus Recreation.
