Employment

The Department of Campus Recreation encourages students to apply for employment at the Rec Center. Approximately 140 students are employed during the academic year. The Rec Center is a convenient place to work for on-campus students, and affords all students a valuable experience. Campus Recreation

Intramural Sports Staff 2009-2010

Erik Unger is the Intramural and Club Sports Assistant Director and joined the Campus Recreation in October of 2008.  He received his Bachelors Degree from Virginia Tech, and his Masters from Minnesota State University-Mankato. Erik officiates high school basketball. He enjoys spending time with his wife and playfull dogs Isabelle and Sierra! Erik is a serious photography enthusiast and his favorite NASCAR driver is Michael Waltrip.

Intramural Sports Graduate Assistant: Samantha Kilsdonk
Sam is a first-year graduate student in the Community Youth Sports Development program. She joins the department having received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science with a Fitness Emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse. At UW-L Sam worked as an Intramural Supervisor and Strength Center Supervisor. This year Sam is looking forward to gaining the "Southern Perspective" of Intramural & Club Sports as well as growing the Intramural Sports program with her wealth of knowledge and experience.

Intramural Sports Program Assistant: Kelly Childress
Kelly is a sophomore in the Sports Medicine program. In high school she was a multi-sport athlete participating in basketball & volleyball. Her long term career goals include becoming a physical therapist and sports coach. In her free time, Kelly enjoys playing sports & photography. One her goals this year is to take home another intramural champion t-shirt.
