Equipment Rentals
UNCG Students, Staff, and Faculty are eligible to rent camping equipment.
Rental Policies
- Renter must be a University of North Carolina at Greensboro student, faculty or staff and must present a valid UNCG ID Card.
- Renter agrees to return all equipment, listed on the contract, in the same condition as issued, by 4:30 PM on the date due.
- Renter is liable for damage, loss and cleaning fees of the above listed equipment. Assessment of damages, loss and /or cleaning fees will be the right of the Outdoor Adventures Program of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Late fees, cleaning fees and/or repair/replacement fees are due on the date equipment is due to be returned.
- Late fees will be assessed based on the daily rental fees of each item rented.
- In the event equipment is not returned or late fees are incurred, cleaning fees, and/or repair/replacement fees are not paid a STUDENT'S ACCOUNT WILL BE BILLED through the Cashiers Office two weeks after the equipment due date. Faculty and staff payroll will be deducted for late fees, cleaning fees, and/or repair/replacement fees not paid.
- Upon return, all equipment will be checked over or operated with the renter present to inspect for damages. Renter must allow appropriate time for equipment return.
- NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
- Renter's signature attests that the renter has read, understands and agrees to the terms of this contract.
Fees
- Late Fees
- Late fees are applied beginning the first late day. The charge is the "Per Day" fee listed above. The fee must be paid at the time that the equipment is returned. See number's 2,4, and 5 above.
- Damage Fees
- Damages are broken pieces, rips, and tears that do not coincide with normal wear and tear. The charges are listed on the back of the Equipment Rental Form that you fill out upon renting the equipment.
