- Roll Sessions for Kayaking - Wednesday nights from 7:30pm - 9:30pm. Dates: February 7, 21, 28, March 6, 27 and April 3, 10, 17, 24. Outdoor Adventures staff will help you with everything from exiting the boat in the shallow end of the pool to covering basic paddle strokes and the Eskimo Roll progression. Bring your UNCG ID card and be ready to get wet! FREE for students, and $5.00 for non-students!
Registering for a Trip:
Outdoor Adventures requires a payment in order to reserve a space on a trip. Once you have found a trip, or a few trips, that interest you please feel free to call, 334-4033, and see how much room is available. If there is room then come on in and reserve your spot. If not you may put your name on the waiting list over the phone.
Pre-trip Meetings:
All overnight trips have a pre-trip meeting that is designed to benefit you! Attendance at these meetings is mandatory.
These meetings give you a chance to meet your fellow participants and instructors. We will talk about the equipment you'll need as well as food and your food restrictions. We will finish by covering important factors that come with outdoor activities and traveling within an Outdoor Adventures group.
Trip Refund Policy:
- Cancellations must be made 14 days prior to trip departure for a refund.
- Outdoor Adventures retains a $15 processing fee from any cancellation.
- No refund will be given for trips canceled within 14 days of trip departure.
- Full refunds will be given if Outdoor Adventures cancels the trip for any reason.
Trip Cost Includes:
- Day Trips: transportation, equipment and instruction.
- Overnight Trips: transportation, equipment, instruction, meals and a free T-shirt or Nalgene water bottle.
